Olivia and Jack were both recognized at an assembly in November at school. Jack was recognized with a "Terrific Kid" award, which means his teacher thought he was showing a lot of leadership and good choices in class. It came with a "token" attached. The staff gives these tokens as a reward and the kids can use them at a toy machine by the front office to get a small prize. He was really excited!
Olivia got a ribbon for her participation in the Reflections art contest. She didn't place this year, which she was fine with. There were a lot of kids who did Reflections this year and it was a tough competition! But she was happy with a ribbon anyway. Maybe next year :)
